I decided to bring a child model to the studio as well, as I was exploring alternative variations of Vogue and fashion magazines., I decided to try photographing a male model and a child model to see how I could use these to create different types of Vogue. Working with a child was much harder than working with a grown up model, as rather than telling the child model how to pose. I had to place them in that position and then hope that they wouldn't move. I found it easier to either pose like I wanted them to pose and let them copy, or let them naturally pose and have fun with them. The model was my little sister, so I found it easier to be more assertive when she was messing around, but using a child model and bringing them into the studio was a career lesson, I don't want to work with children! However, I am impressed with the photographs I captured, although I am going to be sticking with the idea of a male fashion magazine, as there is more scope.
